While in LA all last month, I found myself escaping to Santa Barbara a few times during my trip. I love how beautiful and unchartered the sharp mountains of the Santa Ynez are. I made a day trip up there with a few friends to hike and float in the natural rivers nestled in the forest. We swam all day and just soaked in the serenity as a quick cure to the busy lives we all live outside of vacation. I wouldn't trade a daily sunset at Knapp's Castle cliffside off Lake Cachuma for anything in the world.
It's my perfect fantasy world.
