THE MAXI SKIRT:

Some say it's coming back because of all the dark references in many collections all over the world over the last few years, and some say it's just time for it to be trended yet once again. Whatever the case may be, it's showing up on the streets clad to many fashionistas worldwide, and finally made it's debut back on the catwalks this fall.

I'm in the process of finding a perfect maxi skirt for fall. Definitely for layers and definitely form fitting. If I cant find the perfect fit for me, i'll result to making my own. ;] I'm also taking a darker approach then some of my first picks. ONCE FOUND, WILL PLASTER...EVERYWHERE.

SO I'M COMPLETELY DYING OVER THIS....I LOVE WHEN FUN PROJECTS LIKE THIS COME ABOUT!

In the current issue for April of Elle Spain, they have taken designer profiles to a whole different level. Instead of doing self portraits which most would seem fit for some of the few major designer and couturier houses of the world, the creators went for a more becoming approach. DISNEY CHARACTERS!?!?

Each major designer featured in the spread got their own disney identity with pictures and a snazzy little paragraph about it to match! I'm going GOOGOO for Donatella!

Recently went to the Cobrasnake Yardsale! Got some amazing vintage finds, i'll be posting pictures pretty soon! I found these loud boxer pants! California classics! I love them, definitely my favorite at the moment!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

I recently visited the Arboretum with a close friend and my mom while I was visiting Texas a few weeks ago. We were told it was the best time of the whole entire year to see everything in full bloom. Boy, was I in for surprise. Sooooooo amazing! I cant believe the how vibrant all the colors are and how they quickly come to life when seeing them in person!

I was really fond of this tree! When I saw it, I couldn't take my eyes off it. Perfect color and texture. Just budding from the beautiful ground below. There was an aura about it that was very calm and comforting. I had to take a photo with my love tree!

I've always been a fan of nature and trees and flowers *all the fuzzy things in life >.<*. Botany was always something I was interested in and I remember being a child and my parents spending countless hours in the front yard perfecting it to a tee for their own satisfaction as well as the local "yard of the month contest". Such a prestigious honor when you have children and hit that mid to late 30's period of your life. Meanwhile, I laid around the back yard picking honey blossoms from our tree and continued to eat them. I really love to appreciate the small things in life that may not always come to mind when thought up, but always bring a smile to your face. Spring is the birth of the rest of the year! Better make it a good one!

COACHELLA DIARY 2010

Just returning to the city from the desert for an all weekend oasis! it was absolutely amazing. The musical talent seemed a little short of last year, but I was definitely in for a surprise! It was the best Coachella I have ever attended. CANT WAIT FOR COACHELLA 11' WOOP WOOP! Here are a few recaps of the weekend! :]

It was so hot all weekend, almost in the 100's in the dry, sweaty desert! I swear I wore plenty of fabulous outfits!

Got to see Thom Yorke, Gorillaz, Jay Z, Gossip, Rusko, Fever Ray, Tiesto, Major Lazer, Bassnectar, Edward Sharpe, plus many many more. Cant wait for next year! So good!
