Hot Pink Fuss

(Wearing: Theysken's Theory blazer + Free People bralette + gifted Flamingo Vintage maxi & bag + Zara heels + Ray Bans)

Some of my favorite street style moments i've taken note of lately are these semi-overly dressed but keeping it casual with elegant staples, meanwhile wearing it at like 2pm running around town with a coffee and books in your hand instead of  to a fancy dinner - I kinda love that idea! (like so with this perfectly pink printed skirt from Flamingo Vintage that I wore to lunch the other day). It's a pretty dramatic piece, but way too beautiful to be collecting dust. Easily pairedwith one of my favorite crops from Free People and a classic day blazer from Theysken's! I must say I got quite a few looks on the street in this look, but I think we can all agree it's a little BOLD on the eyes!

One of my personal philosophies on great style:
You never need a reason to look and feel fabulous!
ALL DAY EVERY DAY, DOING IT MY WAY.

La petite fille de marin

(Wearing: FLAMINGO VINTAGE dress, overcoat, & fur bag + Jeffrey Campbell boots + Ray Ban sunglasses)

Feeling a little bit like little Madeline today in this vintage printed boat dress. I paired it with a gorgeous overcoat to give the look a little color. Topped off with my favorite pair of lace up boots and the tiniest little fur bag you've ever seen. It barely fits anything in it, but it looks amazing! Ahhhh...Someone take me to Paris!

I long for the days of lunch on the Louvre and window shopping in the Champ Elysees.

Empty Alleys

(Wearing: FLAMINGO VINTAGE leather top, belt, & bag + Zara pants &pumps + Ray Ban shades)

Since i've returned to California, i've fallen back into a vintage spell. It's all i'm buying lately..But looking for new finds to add to my meticulous collection isn't as easy as it looks. When buying older pieces. I focus on detail, quality, and condition. Look no further then Flamingo Vintage in downtown LA. The lovely boutique is located within the other many shops on the 6th street stretch and is unlike all the other overstocked hole in the walls around town. With vintage at it's all popular high, i'm finding it all to look the same these days when a new store opens. It's just the same refabricated concept over and over. Thats why I find the shop girl, Candice, to be incredibly refreshing with her concise selection of items from the 1930's-1980's ranging from clothing, accessories, kitchenwares, and furniture. All labeled pieces in my outfit posts will be available at the store.

Heaven is cool

(Wearing: NMJ shirt + Zara pants & sandals + vintage cap)

I'm vowing to keep my promise to wear more of my T-shirts from my overwhelming collection this summer. I'm OCD when it comes to clutter, so I like to think I keep it down to a solid edit. This one in particular is a quirky favorite from Opening Ceremony a few years back. Leave it to Japanese label, NMJ to make the perfect graphic top. So incredibly soft, and pretty ill fitting while watching the clouds roll in over the Pacific 4,000 feet above sea level.

This is my idea of heaven.
