^^ This is what my Independence Day consisted of! :) I hope everyone had a safe and happy July 4th with their family and friends. This is the one holiday a year where I absolutely, without a doubt, have to be in the great state of Texas. This is one of my favorite times of year here! I love spending summer nights with my friends out on my parents cabana-like open air porch in the backyard, swimming till i'm too pruned to touch, eating yummy desserts all day long, and finally going to the park to watch our favorite annual fireworks show. Can't ask for more in life! Simplicity is key!
